The service specializes in providing psychological assessment and treatment services to clients going through personal injury compensation claims for cases such as:

• post traumatic stress disorder resulting from road traffic or other accidents or trauma
• medical negligence
• work related stress
• fitness to work

 The above are some examples and if you are not sure then please do not hesitate to discuss it with the service. An expert witness service can also be provided in the event that the case does actually go to court.

Referrals can be received from solicitors, employers and also from individuals. We work in co-operation with other professionals involved such as consultant medical staff and provide an expert psychological perspective on such cases.

The centre does not do cognitive/neuro-psychological assessments in relation to head injury claims.
